After his 2020 conviction for rape in New York was overturned, Harvey Weinstein, aged 72, remains in custody following a separate conviction in Los Angeles. His lawyer, Authur Aidala, disclosed that Weinstein was transferred to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan for medical evaluations. Aidala expressed concerns about Weinstein's health, describing him as having significant health challenges and requiring substantial physical assistance.


Weinstein had been moved from Mohawk Correctional Facility to the Rikers Island jail complex on Friday. His legal team has previously mentioned his various health issues, including cardiac problems, diabetes, sleep apnea, and eye conditions. In 2020, he spent five days in the hospital due to heart problems and chest pains.


The allegations against Weinstein in 2017 triggered a movement against sexual violence, leading to numerous accusations against powerful men, a movement now known as the #MeToo movement.

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted.
