WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Defense meetings in Riyadh on Wednesday aim to advance the goal of building a regional missile defense shield, inspired by the recent success in intercepting incoming missiles and drones, officials say.
However, it is unclear if regional allies share the same confidence in external defense support or if they are willing to take the necessary steps to fully integrate their defenses, according to former officials and experts.
