After Kendrick Lamar aimed at Drake and J. Cole on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” Drake appears to have responded with a diss track that surfaced on social media on Saturday (April 13), although there has been no official confirmation.

In the early hours, a leaked four-minute track attributed to Drake made rounds on social media, sparking doubts about its authenticity, with speculation suggesting it might be an A.I.-created record. Initially, the song sounded like an unmixed demo over an interpolation of Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s “Get Money,” but a higher-quality version with a different beat emerged later in the day. Adding to the confusion, Power 105 claimed the diss track was genuine and debuted official artwork featuring Lamar doing push-ups, although Drake's team did not immediately verify the track's authenticity when contacted by Variety.

After a day filled with online speculation, Drake seemingly confirmed the track's legitimacy by posting a photo on Instagram of Uma Thurman as the Bride in “Kill Bill,” wielding a samurai sword amidst a group of attackers. Not only did Power 105, but also its parent company iHeartRadio — the country’s largest radio network — posted the song, further supporting its authenticity.

Drake's track, tentatively titled “Push Ups,” sees the rapper taking shots in various directions. He wastes no time addressing Lamar directly with a series of jabs. "How the heck you big steppin with a size 7 mens on?" he raps. "Your last one bricked, you really not on it / They make excuses for you ’cause they hate to see me lit / Pull your contract ’cause we gotta see the split / Ain’t no way you doin’ splits, your pants might rip."
