AIMS Player Development Days provide a platform for young scholars to enhance their personal development skills off the pitch and connect with players from across the AIMS network.


The recent Player Development Day welcomed Foxes first-team players Arjan Raikhy and Hamza Choudhury, along with Zesh Rehman, Portsmouth FC First Team Development Coach, and the first British-South Asian to start a Premier League fixture.


Hosted by Riz Rehman, PFA Player Inclusion Executive, and Ian Cawley, Leicester City’s Academy Manager, participants engaged in football coaching sessions led by elite coach educators and gained insights from current and former professionals.

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
