Choral music takes center stage, with the BBC Singers commemorating their 100th anniversary. A special Choral Day features a diverse range of styles, including the debut of Voices of the River’s Edge, a youth choir formed during lockdown. The BBC Singers perform in seven Proms, including premieres by Eric Whitacre, alongside performances of Verdi’s Requiem, Britten’s War Requiem, and Bach’s St John Passion throughout the summer.
