The team from the United States achieved a significant victory against Canada in the opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on Sunday morning at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Chasing a challenging target of 195 runs, the team had a rough start, losing Steven Taylor in the first over.


Monank Patel and Andries Gous then steadied the innings with a 42-run partnership. However, the team faced another setback when captain Monank Patel was dismissed in the seventh over. Gous and Aaron Jones then turned the match around with a 124-run partnership for the third wicket. The stand was broken when Nikhil Dutta took Gous's wicket, leaving the team needing 22 runs to win in 25 overs.

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
