On Saturday, Nita Mukesh Ambani, the chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, received the 'Humanitarian Award' from the Miss World Foundation in recognition of her dedicated commitment to philanthropy and social work. The award was presented by Julia Morley, chairman and CEO of the Miss World Organization, during the 71st edition of the Miss World 2024 pageant held at the Jio World Convention Centre in India, marking its return after a 28-year gap.


Morley commended Nita Ambani, stating, "You are known across the world for all the kindness... You do so much," as she handed over the prestigious award.

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
