Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates recently visited India, commencing his journey in the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar. Over nearly a week, Gates engaged in a series of high-level meetings, including discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. His itinerary also included a visit to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, as well as interactions with key figures in Odisha, notably Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.


Reflecting on his experience, Gates shared insights and highlights from his trip in a blog post on Gates Notes titled "A Few Highlights from Another Remarkable Trip to India." Expressing his enthusiasm for revisiting India, Gates underscored his goal of gaining updates on groundbreaking ideas and inventions emerging from the country.

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
