"Mind-Blowing Revelations: Shocking Impact of Pandemic on Global Mental Health! Find Out Which Country Topped the 2023 Mental Wellbeing Rankings!"
A recently released report, titled "Mental State of the World" by the Global Mind Project, sheds light on the significant impact of the pandemic on global mental wellbeing. The report is based on surveys conducted in 71 countries with over 400,000 participants, revealing a decline in mental health since 2020. Using a Mental Health Quotient (MHQ) to assess various aspects of mental health, the study categorizes participants into different groups, ranging from "thriving" to "distressed."
In the 2023 rankings, the Dominican Republic tops the list with the highest average MHQ (91), followed by Sri Lanka (89) and Tanzania (88). Conversely, Uzbekistan has the lowest average MHQ (48), closely followed by the UK at 49. The nonprofit neuroscience research organization Sapien Labs initiated the yearly Global Mind Project in 2019.
