Netflix continues to expand its anime library, recently announcing via social media its acquisition of several anime titles for release throughout 2024. This includes both classic favorites returning to Netflix and new anime content. Here’s what we know so far.


With a strong presence at Anime Japan, Netflix is unveiling information and previews for many upcoming titles. Expect a rapid influx of new anime announcements in the coming days. For instance, Netflix confirmed that BEASTARS’ final season will be split into two parts, with the first part arriving in 2024. Additionally, Kengan Ashura season 2 part 2 is scheduled for release in August 2024.

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
