 Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a women's rally in Barasat, North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal, underscoring the empowering role of 'naari shakti' in shaping the vision of Viksit Bharat. He expressed a familial bond with the women of the state, stating every woman in West Bengal is like a sister to him, extending this sentiment to every woman in the nation. The rally, located 80 km from Sandeshkhali, comes amid recent tensions and an incident involving ED officials.


PM Modi highlighted, "This extensive program demonstrates how the BJP is harnessing 'Naari Shakti' as the driving force behind 'Viksit Bharat.' Starting the 'Shakti Vandan' campaign on 9th January, the BJP engaged with numerous self-help groups nationwide. Today, a significant program is organized for members of these groups in West Bengal."

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
