Finland Maintains Top Spot as World's Happiest Country


Finland has retained its position as the world's happiest country for the seventh consecutive year, as per the latest World Happiness Report.


The annual report collects self-reported happiness scores from nearly 150,000 individuals across over 140 countries. Other Nordic nations also shine in the rankings, with Denmark at second place, Iceland at third, and Sweden at fourth.


Finland's culture prioritizes positive well-being, with a strong emphasis on trust in institutions, easy access to nature, and low stress levels. These factors were highlighted during the report's unveiling hosted by Semafor on Wednesday, where Finland's ambassador praised the country's commitment to happiness.

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
