In 2017, Frontiers in Psychiatry published a study titled 'An Update Overview on Brain Imaging Studies of Internet Gaming Disorder' as part of their exploration into IGD (Internet Gaming Disorder). The study's conclusion revealed significant findings: "There is emerging evidence suggesting that IGD shares similar brain mechanisms with substance use disorders. Brain imaging studies on IGD demonstrate similarities in brain mechanisms with substance use disorder, supporting the classification of IGD as a behavioral addiction."

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
