Nearly four years ago, Sean O'Malley experienced the sole setback in his career, facing defeat against Marlon ''Chito'' Vera. Tonight, he seeks to validate that loss as an aberration while defending his UFC bantamweight championship for the first time against Vera in the main event of UFC 299 at Kaseya Center in Miami. In 2020, O'Malley succumbed to a TKO after a Vera leg kick caused a numb nerve in his right foot. While crediting Vera for the kick, O'Malley contends it wasn't a "true" loss due to the rarity of the nerve issue.

The participation in the autonomous elections of Galicia stood at 49.13% in the last 17 hours, 6.16 points above the 42.97% that had voted in the same hour in the elections of July 2020. The participation of this 18-year-old was 17.1%, 2.3 points below that of four years ago but in a different context. At that moment there was a concentration of votes in the first hour which then slowed down to 59% by the end of the day - later falling to 49% after counting only 6,000 votes from abroad. In reality, the participation of the middle was the third highest in the last 20 years, only behind that of 2020 and the 18,8% of 2005, when the government changed from PP to bipartite of PSOE and BNG. Those elections were also held in summer and with good temperatures, favoring early voting. A media later, the most recent elections with greater participation had been those of 2009, when Alberto Núñez Fe...
