In response to Russia's advances in the conflict zone, President Joe Biden has reaffirmed his commitment to promptly deliver new arms supplies to Ukraine. The Senate, echoing the House of Representatives, approved a portion of a significant $95 billion assistance package to allies like Israel and Taiwan. Biden stated, "I will sign this bill into law and address the American people as soon as it reaches my desk tomorrow so we can begin sending weapons and equipment to Ukraine this week," emphasizing America's support for democracy and freedom. Despite delays and questioning from some House Republicans, the bipartisan approval underscores America's solidarity with Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the Senate and emphasized the importance of continued support, stating, "I equally appreciate President Biden's support and look forward to the bill being signed soon and the next military aid package matching the resoluteness that I always see in our negotiations."
