Chief Nishan Duraiappah of Peel Regional Police addresses the media beside the truck utilized in the heist, as authorities disclose details of arrests made one year after the theft of approximately 400 kg (882 pounds) of gold and nearly 2 million U.S. dollars in cash from Toronto Pearson International Airport. The press conference took place in Brampton, Ontario, Canada on April 17, 2024. 


Canadian and U.S. authorities announced on Wednesday that six individuals have been apprehended and three more are being pursued in connection with what they described as the largest gold heist in Canadian history—a haul exceeding C$22 million ($16 million) in gold and currency.

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
