Harlequins secured a crucial 41-32 bonus point victory over Northampton Saints at the Big Summer Kick-Off at Twickenham Stadium.


With a crowd of over 58,500 supporters in attendance, Harlequins scored five tries to Saints’ four, including two each for Luke Northmore and Will Porter, to claim their ninth win of the season and draw level on points with fourth-placed Bristol Bears.


The Big Summer Kick-Off commenced with a pre-match performance by Jess Glynne, setting the stage for an electrifying encounter. In a thrilling start, Marcus Smith's cross-field kick found Luke Northmore, who scored in the corner just two minutes into the game.


Despite a yellow card for Danny Care, Harlequins responded strongly, with Northmore and skipper Stephan Lewies adding tries before halftime to secure a 19-13 lead.

Anupam Kher remembers last conversation with Satish Kaushik three hours before his death: ‘Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted

  A ctor Anupam Kher shared a strong friendship with late Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik, who passed away last year, following a heart attack. Recently, Kher revisited his first meeting with Kaushik at drama school in 1975. The Saaransh star also recalled the last conversation that he had with his friend of 48 years, just three hours before  his death. Kher recalled that he was on a phone call with Kaushik just three before before he succumbed to a heart attack. During their conversation, Kaushik had mentioned that he was feeling unwell, and Kher had told him to get admitted to a hospital. "I told him, 'Go to the hospital, get yourself admitted. Go as if you are going to a resort'," Kher shared with Bollywood Hungama. Kaushik insisted on going in the morning, but Kher didn't give up. He told his friend, "You go now. Lie down and rest there.
