Israeli police reported that Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel's National Security Minister from the far-right, sustained minor injuries in a car accident and was taken to the hospital. Social media footage showed a flipped car at the scene. Two others were injured, and police are investigating. Ben-Gvir was reportedly returning from a stabbing incident in Ramle, near Tel Aviv, where a 19-year-old woman was seriously injured. The assailant, reportedly with mental health issues, was shot by a civilian. Ben-Gvir, a controversial member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government, has advocated for a strong military response against Iran and the relocation of Palestinians from Gaza, while supporting Jewish settlement re-establishment there.
