"Unstoppable Nelly Korda: Can She Conquer the Men’s PGA Tour Next?"

Nelly Korda enters the biggest week in women's golf as the favorite to win her first US Open title, having claimed victory in six of her last seven tournaments.

This period marks an extraordinary level of dominance. Since late January, she has outperformed a combined total of 883 competitors, with her only non-win being a seventh-place finish.

In the six stroke-play events she participated in, Korda has an aggregate score of 74 under par.

The world rankings show a significant gap between Korda and her closest rival, Lilia Vu. This points average gap is larger than that between the world number two and any other golfer on the list. Her dominance is reminiscent of Tiger Woods at his peak and Scottie Scheffler's current hold over the men's game.

Following Korda's recent win at the Mizuho Americas Cup in New Jersey, PGA Tour player Michael Kim suggested on social media that the women’s world number one should be given a chance to compete on the men's circuit.

"Would be really cool to see Nelly get an exemption to a PGA Tour tournament," said Kim, known for his insightful posts on X (formerly Twitter).

It often seems that when a female player achieves extraordinary success on the LPGA Tour, there is a call for them to test their skills against male players.
